I updated the blog theme to the latest version today, hoping it would fix some format errors that I had to manually fix in the previous versions. Please let me know if anything doesn’t work or looks wierd on your browsers. I’ve tested for the past few hours but I could be missing something…
Yup that right, Joe and Jamie’s Blog turned one year old today. I can’t believe a year has gone by already. I am just thinking how one year ago I sat here not knowing anything about blogs or Wordpress, and comparing it to what it is today.
I have enjoyed blogging very much over the past year. It is something I look forward to after each event we go to or fun thing we do. Jamie laughs at me when I run upstairs to get the camera, or get bumbed out if I forget it. I like the idea of having a journal of what we do to reference in the future, and having it online to be accessible anywhere and share with friends is even better.
So hooray for one year, can’t wait for the next. Thanks to all the readers and supporters out there.

We’ve made it to the first milestone…100 posts!! I can’t believe it took me almost a year, but hey, I’m here now!
I love how my spam comments are ten times greater than my actual comments, but I’m sure thats normal.

I was getting very tired of the last theme. The huge header really bugged me, along with a few other small things. I like how this theme looks and does the comments pages. I decided to remove all the junk from the sidebar as well, which I think helps make it look cleaner and neater. I chose the free theme iNove, found on Wordpress.org.
So…how do you like it?
Way back in October I told everyone in this post that I was creating a new website for www.joeandjamie.com. Well I finally got around to doing it…somewhat. The previous post talks about getting the URL of the blog updated and changed. That was step one. Step two is the picture gallery, which I have set up and configured. I just have the grueling task of putting descriptions on the categories and the pictures, as well as updating the naming structure (maybe) of the files , uploading all of the files which takes days, AND looking at each picture, rotating the ones that need to be rotated. Doesn’t that just sound like fun? Easy, but horribly redundant and boring work. Gee I wonder why I put it off for so long…..
So the picture gallery is there for you to look at, along with the simple main page to the site with a choice to the blog or the gallery. Go to www.joeandjamie.com and choose either site to enjoy.
Hello world! Still here.
It has been a very long time since I last posted. Not really that long but too long for my liking. In an ideal world I would post every three days or so, maybe even everyday if I did more exciting things to write about.
Jamie and I have just been very busy lately with school and work, barely finding time to do anything. Besides the boring yard work and soccer that I already wrote about too much, there isn’t anything that I really can write about that anyone (including myself) would want to read. Oh yeah big highlight, cleaned the fish tank the other day; fun, fun. See what I mean, not quite a compelling story. I have been able to accomplish a few more websites and I am in the works to sell some domain names at serious prices. One domain can literally erase half my debt which would be awesome.
Thanksgiving is coming up and I believe we are traveling out to Long Island to our relatives on our father’s side. We haven’t seem them in awhile so it will be nice. Can’t wait for the food! This nice long weekend gives me some time to catch up on things and get squared away before I am bombarded with end of the semester tests over the following two weeks.
I will try and video the next indoor soccer game and see how it comes out, would be fun to watch it online. Now I just need some kind reader to send me a camcorder for Christmas so I can really video tape stuff and play it on the blog.
